    After your interview, we’ll contact you with a job offer, or some feedback on why it wasn’t the right fit at this time. If you decide to accept our offer, we will conduct a background check, a drug screen, and adhere to country-specific hiring requirements. How do I apply for a job?

You will see the “Apply Now” button within each posted job. Follow the prompts and complete your application.

Helpful Tips: We highly recommend that you use the same email address when applying to any and all positions with GE Appliances. This email address links your candidate profile in the system and is instrumental in you receiving subsequent communications from us throughout the process. We also recommend that you adjust your SPAM filters on your email to recognize GE Appliances.

How do I find the candidate page after I apply?

The easiest way is to bookmark the page or save it as a favorite when you apply. Remember, that if you apply to multiple positions, you can see the status of all in one place! If you do receive an offer, you’ll receive a system-generated email saying that you have “tasks” awaiting you and a link to the page is included, so you can use that as well.

What should I do if I have technical problems applying to a position?

You can email staffing.position3@geappliances.com for help. Be sure to include the details of the problem.

Can I apply for more than 1 position?

Yes. You are encouraged to apply to as many positions that fit your skills and qualifications.

What can I expect after applying for a position?

After you apply for a position, our Recruiters will review your experience and qualifications. We will make contact with the best qualified candidates, focusing on providing the very best candidate experience. Your application is important to us. Due to the volume of applicants that we receive, we regret that we will be unable to make personal contact with everyone that applies.

How long after I apply can I expect communication?

Typically, we contact the most qualified candidates for an interview within 2 to 3 weeks (however, some assessment decisions may have a longer time frame). If you are selected for an interview, we may contact you by e-mail so, be sure to check your inbox to ensure that emails from staffing.position3@geappliances.com are not being sent to your spam / junk folder.

Is there anything I can do to enhance my chances for consideration?

Your resume/CV is the best representation of you when it has perfect grammar, name and contact details, chronological job history, brief descriptions of your previous work and relevant achievements. We look for a well-structured document that gets the message across in a concise way.

If I am an “employee referral” do I need to submit my credentials online?

Yes! We love it when our employee’s refer great talent to our positions. Please complete your application as requested and when asked “How did you hear about us,” choose Employee Referral. You will need to include the GEAppliances.com email address of the employee who referred you (ex: Jane.Doe@geappliances.com).

How should I prepare for the interview?

If you’re like most candidates we talk to, you want to know what to expect during your interviews and what we’re looking for in you. Here, interviews are a two-way street. We want to get to know you, but we also want to be sure you walk away knowing us, too.

Does GE Appliances do background checks?

Yes, we perform background checks on all new hires before their start date. A typical background check will verify employment and education and include a criminal record check. For certain positions, we may also perform a credit check.
