Associate Analyst, Data Privacy

The Challenge

The Associate Analyst, Data Privacy, will be responsible for fulfilling Data Privacy related business requirements by enabling changes in business-processes, software applications and integrations. The output of this work directly influences GEA’s touchpoints with owners/consumers. The incumbent is needed to coordinate with several functional and DT teams in confirming requirements, solution approach and timelines for deliverables. This person exhibits basic understanding of data privacy domain and helps GE Appliances not only fulfill a variety of regulatory and compliance requirements but go beyond and make our owners feel safe about their data with us.

What you will Do

1) 60% - Learns and enriches Data Privacy functional knowledge. Complete assigned tasks related to configuration, integration and testing for the data privacy software platform, within timelines and with an accepted quality standard. (2) 20% - Creates documentation of development, configuration, testing, processes etc. (3) 20% - Maintains the project rigor/communication and updates the tasks in respective tools.

What you need to Succeed

Required Technical Skills

• Strong execution focus to deliver the tasks as instructed.
• Manages the day-to-day tasks within the application platform. Maintains system stability and reliability. Analyze, test and implement the newly released features and their utility / impact.
• Compiles Data Privacy compliance metrics. Executes ideas for automation via processes and/or software in test and prod environments.
• Follows process rigor on the project, task and resource management. Provide timely updates on the assigned tasks.
• Manages assigned tasks and communicates changes to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Hands-on development/testing/rollout experience using a programming language, e.g., Python, Java, and/or SQL.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Inquisitiveness and keen attention to details
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AWS Cloud platform, especially usage of Lambda functions.
• Exposure to OneTrust Data Privacy platform. Certifications are plus.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy domain concepts.
• Prior internship experience with GE Appliances is preferred.
