The Challenge

As the Principal Architect, Materials Manufacturing & EHS, you will be responsible for reviewing, designing, implementing wing to wing solutions within the Manufacturing ERP area with a focus on materials WIP, inventory, BOM, and costing. You should have a strong understanding of Oracle ERP materials management and experience collaborating across multiple functional areas / levels of business within manufacturing to understand business stakeholder’s needs, improve business processes, services, and systems. You will be a key business partner with the manufacturing and materials teams where you will ensure that the IT systems are meeting the business needs, as well as IT guidelines and governance.

What you will Do

• Responsible for solution design supporting ERP materials and EHS related operations and projects.  Holistically able to review wing to win enterprise solutions, digitalization and enhancements within the manufacturing function, including WIP, INV, BOM, and Costing as well as other related business processes areas.
• Works closely with business partners, lean process improvement teams, integration teams, and Oracle Cloud ERP teams to estimate project timelines and deliverables as well as be a resource for projects where required
• Provide functional design inputs and lead effort to develop business process design, functional specifications, and test planning efforts, work with different stakeholders to identify and address design gaps
• Design and execute on test strategy and identification of test case scenarios
• Support and partner with Factory Business teams, MFG Functional and MFG IT teams such as Planning and Fulfillment, Sourcing, Distribution, and Plant Floor to ensure that overall business goals are met
• Collaborate with Factory Materials business partners to identify and close capability gaps between manufacturing systems and business processes to drive sustainable inventory accuracy and optimization of the supply chain
• Become a subject matter expert, and key point of contact for ERP business users, within manufacturing sites
• Keep up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technology to facilitate innovation and develop a sustainable process to take best practices from one site and share across all manufacturing sites within our North American network
• Solve difficult, and sometimes complex, problems by finding root cause and driving systemic solutions with business stakeholders and IT application owners
• Coach and train Supply Chain business users and project team members on ERP best practices as they are developed
• Support Factory Master Plans and larger Digital supply chain Hoshin projects
• Work with IT teams to ensure projects are properly prioritized and manage functional expectations
• Ensure adherence to enterprise procedures, and compliance with regulations and policy

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM degree
• 7+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and/or Warehousing experience that includes Oracle cloud experience
• 7+ years’ functional or technical experience with Oracle EBS or OCI ERP, specifically WIP, INV, BOM, and Costing modules
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with Oracle technical and functional documentation
• Strong, analytical problem-solving skills
• Project execution skills and knowledgeable; Ability to multitask between project and operational work as well as participate in multiple projects/programs in a cross-functional environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues and drive needed actions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt Certified
• PMP and/or Oracle certifications
• Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping
• Familiarity with Robotics process automation
• Familiarity with other EHS related applications in a factory setting
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and functional leadership teams
• Demonstratable knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain/Wing to Wing Business Processes
• Agile project methodology experience
• Lean experience, especially with LEAN tools like 5 Why’s and 7 Ways
• Basic understanding of integrations, interactions, and usage of ERP, MES, and WMS’s
