Our MarTech Data team is seeking a Marketing Email Specialist. This person will be responsible for executing email and digital marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In addition, they will gather selection criteria for list creation, schedule email/journey sends, produce campaign documentation, and assist with the maintenance of the Marketing Cloud database. The ideal candidate will be proficient with campaign execution and SQL within Marketing Cloud or other related CRM tools.

How You'll Create Possibilities

• Create list selection criteria for primarily email campaigns using SQL in Marketing Cloud
• Email campaign execution and journey setup within digital automation tool
• Understanding of database architecture and data available for campaigns
• Own audiences/segments and provide recommendations to optimize audience and contact frequency strategies
• Create email campaign documentation, enforce naming conventions, and data management best practices
• Assist with end to end testing of digital marketing campaigns within the tool including creating data user stories and test cases
• Coordinate email campaign execution across house of brands
• Assist as needed with reporting needs from digital analytics team

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 3+ years of database marketing experience utilizing a CRM tool to execute campaigns
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or similar queries to build lists and analyze data
• Experience using data analysis tools
• Strong team player including demonstrated behavior working on a cross-functional team and being a self-starter

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with email service providers
• Fast learner who is eager to dive into the data and learn all its intricacies
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to accept feedback
• Experience in setting up automated digital marketing communications
• Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
• Experience with A/B testing and other digital marketing testing
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
• Ability to shift focus depending on the business priority
