The Challenge

Job Description:

· Provide regular estimates (weekly/monthly/quarterly) of financial performance and work with Operations team in developing action plans to ensure financial commitments are met

· Support Senior Finance Specialist as needed on material cost standard setting, BOM audits, and adhoc inventory analysis

· Partner with the payroll team to ensure proper accounting for labor costs and 401k processes

· Partner with the HR team to ensure proper and timely accounting, payment and reconciliation of HR vendors (Insurance benefit vendors, Wellness Center, Payroll, etc)

· Participate in the Month-end closing process via Journal Entry preparation and results reporting

· Support the annual physical inventory processes for both assets & material. Ongoing monitoring of asset tagging and tracking to ensure strong controllership.

· Utilize process improvement skills to simplify and improve accuracy of monthly closing and reporting routines

· Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure correct cost of new launches are captured

What you will Do

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience with Strong Finance, Accounting, Inventory processes

· Strong project management skills

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

· Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in analysis

· Demonstrates ability to engage with the operational team in a collaborative fashion to identify and execute operational improvements

· Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain business connectivity

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate with all levels within the organization.

What you need to Succeed


· Demonstrated leadership skills with high energy level

· Excellent analytical and quantitative finance skills with focus on planning and problem solving

· Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

· Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

· Experience in ERP, Oracle preferred & Hyperion
