The Challenge

In this role the Financial Analyst will partner with Contract (Builder) Channel Sales and Operations teams (specifically National Accounts) to translate concepts, develop strategy and create financial models that are responsive to market needs and integrate well with GEA profitability metrics.

What you will Do


  • Own the programing, estimates, and tracking for $140M in sales backside spend.
  • Serve as Finance point of contact for our Sales and Operations teams (200+ person organization including National Account Managers, Region Managers, and Area Sales Managers).  Responsible for a variety of reporting, ad-hoc analysis, & proactive communication.
  • Own the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) coordination for all of Contract to ensure alignment between production and financial forecasts.  Partner with Sales, Fulfillment, & Product teams to drive cross functional alignment on volume and profitability assumptions by product line.
  • Heavy involvement in the annual planning process.  Customer/PL/Brand profitability assumptions as well as development of regional targets (incl. SG&A).
  • Own the planning, tracking, and reporting of $40M in SG&A spend.  Investigate variances and report findings to HQ and regional leadership.
  • Financial ownership of additional incentive plans (development of targets, tracking performance, communication of results & associated payouts).
  • Month-end closing responsibilities including P&L review, Actual vs Plan/PY/FC, Misc Journal Entries and reclasses, and standardized reporting.
  • Special projects as needed from Sales & Financial leadership.

    What you need to Succeed


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
    • Minimum 3 years of Finance experience

    Nice to Haves:

    • Knowledge of internal systems (Microsoft Office, Tableau, Oracle, Hyperion)
    • EFDP graduate
    • MBA or CPA preferred
