The Challenge

We are in search of a FP&A Analyst – Income to drive the improvement of GE Appliance’s reporting, short term estimation, planning cycles, and total company analysis. In this role, you will be critical to the FP&A team’s success through coordination of Pulses, Short Range Outlooks, and annual Budget activities. You will play a critical role in analyzing the company’s financials and provide senior leadership the information they need when they need it. This role provides significant exposure to the Executive Director - FP&A, GEA CFO, and the broader finance/FP&A organization while operating in a dynamic environment with unique challenges to solve.

What you will Do

  • Act as a key member/coordinator of the finance team and as a point person working across functional and product line finance/FP&A leaders
  • Own the weekly QMI process with extended FP&A team’s Platform/functional/product line rollups
  • Report and analyze monthly financials and prepare packages for CFO/CEO level leadership
  • Own internal and externally reported P&L maintenance and reconcile reported financial statements
  • Act as the first contact with Parent company Haier Smart Home International FP&A & provide analytical support
  • Coordinate weekly income pulsing process/reviews with finance teams
  • Coordinate GEA short-range planning/forecasting cycles
  • Lead finance function-wide & cross-functional ad-hoc projects

Manage relationship with the Oracle EPM IT team and coordinate system maintenance, recast, ledger update processes

What you need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years Finance or relevant experience
  • Finance leadership program graduate a plus
  • Results-oriented, curious learner, advocate for meaningful change
  • Must be able to clearly/concisely communicate results while providing useful analytics
  • Strong analytical skillset/ability to integrate information & data from multiple sources
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong systems skills, i.e. Excel, Hyperion, BI/Visualization tools
