The Challenge

The Campaign and Social Media Senior Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing a multi-platform social content strategy that both builds brand awareness and engages consumers across the shopping lifecycle. Leading social content strategy for the Haier and Hotpoint brands, they partner with internal and external teams to lead successful digital and social campaigns that meet and exceed business goals.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive multi-platform social content strategy for Haier and Hotpoint brands:
    • Collaborate with key internal constituents from Marketing, PR, Product Management, etc.
    • Analyze and define platform needs and growth opportunities.
    • Research new technologies and emerging platforms.
    • Leverage high-level learnings from agencies and external partners.
  • Create and manage the always-on native social content calendars, messaging strategy and sponsored content campaigns for all brands:
    • Collaborate with key internal constituents from Marketing, PR, Product Management, etc.
    • Partner with multiple external agencies on key campaigns, product launches and new opportunities.

  • Lead social and digital content creation:
    • Manage regular photo and video shoots.
    • Develop sponsored content campaigns and other opportunities to leverage new and existing content.
    • Partner with influencers and external agencies to implement user-generated content.
    • Collaborate with key internal constituents from Marketing, PR, Product Management, etc.
    • Set and manage approved budget, as well as identify additional funding sources

  • Coordinate Direct to Consumer campaigns & activities
  • Consult with the social media engagement team on issues and messaging; support and respond to questions from social media moderators

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of social and/or digital marketing experience, preferably with a Communications or PR background
  • Prior campaign management experience to include paid search, ad testing, and social ads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
