The Challenge

To join an established yet transitioning team, supporting the Treasury & Shared Services, Commercial, Supply Chain, Product Line, Group FP&A finance and Digital Technology teams in developing business analytics, interactive dashboards, forecasting models, closing and reporting rhythm efficiencies, as well as other reporting tools aimed to shine a light within the AP & AR functional areas to provide actional business intelligence, enabling teams to identify strategic & tactical opportunities from which to formulate and execute plans aimed toward improving past due payables & receivables performance, overall working capital productivity, and cross-functional synergies across the organization to support short and long-term business objectives.

What you will Do

  • Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Shared Services, and Digital Technology SMEs to design and develop business analytics and interactive dashboards to allow for real-time performance tracking versus business targets and other KPIs, providing trend and root cause analyses to drive enhanced accountability and further data-driven engagement to improve operational results
  • Develop and refine various AP & AR models to forecast both current environment results as well as under potential future business scenarios for overall operational and specific financial transaction optimization, including working capital program opportunities (e.g., factoring, securitization, supply chain finance)
  • Ownership over reconciling monthly AP cash disbursement & trade payable balance sheet account activity and closing balances to maintain and drive optimal controllership over these key areas, including leading monthly AP controllership reviews
  • Stand up and lead operating reviews of sundry AP & AR balances across the organization to ensure accountability, connectivity, and timely collection efforts in order to reduce risk of financial exposure
  • Partner with operating teams and Oracle ERP implementation team to support the migration of remaining AP & AR activities from our legacy system to our new Oracle ERP system, including monitoring activities and ensuring timely winddown in accordance with overall cutover plan
  • Support all functional financial audit requests, both internal and external, while exemplifying both a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail in regard to all audit requests
  • Utilize process improvement skills to simplify and improve accuracy and efficiency of overall monthly & quarterly closing, forecasting, and reporting rhythm activities
  • Perform various monthly closing journal entries and reconciliations, as needed, along with the rest of the team to ensure overall seamless financial close processes

What you need to Succeed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance
  • Minimum 3+ years of high-impact experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields
  • Accountable self-starter who consistently leverages strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective business solutions
  • Adept at navigating challenging business scenarios and successfully managing several concurrent projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and financial modeling principles and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous FP&A experience
  • FDP (Finance Develop Program) or other leadership program graduate
