The Challenge

The Marketing Associate, Content Management is responsible for ensuring that all products have complete and accurate content loaded in the digital marketing platform to support the NPI calendar and all downstream application initiatives. They will collaborate closely with Merchandising and Product Management teams to configure and deliver content as needed, while maintaining strict data governance standards.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day content requirements for all microenterprise teams including features/attributes, features/benefits, metadata assignments, image, document/video linking and content delivery.
  • Manage legal compliance for all content necessary for a product to be featured on a GEA consumer website, conducting timely audits and working with appropriate teams to close content gaps.
  • Collaborate with product, brand, e-commerce and national account Ops teams on ensuring that content requirements are met.
  • Provide data governance, keeping features consistent and searchable across product categories without compromising SEO.
  • Coordinate content delivered by multiple third-party agencies so that it adheres to established standards.
  • Keep Merchandising Managers apprised of program status relative to NPI tracker (Green, Red status) and drive for checklist timing compliance to keep launches on track.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement new standards that will drive efficiency and cost reduction. 
  • Bridge content gaps between product teams and national account teams.

What you need to Succeed

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in Marketing and/or data management
  • Prior experience loading and managing content in a digital platform
  • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail

Desired Characteristics 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems or related field
  • eCommerce and/or customer marketing experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and implementing best practices in order to maximize process efficiency and cost reduction
  • Track record of cross-functional or client-based collaboration and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent requests
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task across multiple projects and global teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SAP MDM and/or Oracle Endeca, as well as experience working in other third-party data management systems
