The Challenge

The Principal Solutions Architect, Order Management will partner with DT & the business leadership team to plan, design, deploy, execute & support post go-live support for finished goods Order Management (OM) and modules around for OSB Program. This person will also drive the next level of Order Taking capability and process visualization to allow business faster decisions. The role will primarily focus on Designing, Owning and driving key solutions in the OM space but will ensure the other modules like OTM, Pricing and Local Delivery is able to execute Order Deliver to customer efficiently. This role will also focus suggesting new functionalities/feature, mentoring/directing team to fix complex problems, reduce CEMLI dependency and improve overall experience, performance of system. Partnering with DT and Business Stakeholders, the person will ensure seamless execution & business continuity while launching remaining Retail and Contract Customers and Future Enhancements. The person will also make sure the solutions are scalable to support the 2X growth the business is targeting in Revenue. Partnering with other Track leads/Program Managers, will ensure seamless execution & business continuity. The Person will own providing key strategic direction to the DT Capabilities supporting Business operations.

What you will Do

• Own & drive Order Management needs across business functions • Continue to Partner with Business users/executives to build functionality and provide hypercare for remaining Retail & Contract Customers Launch • Continue to Partner with Business Executives, users on various Order Management Simplification and Improvements programs from business to make Order experience seamless • The Person should be able to work with program architect or enterprise architect to achieve Work objectives and execute by coaching, reviewing and delegating work to other professionals • Drive and Lead Significant improvements on existing processes and practices. • Lead OM and Work across tracks (Pricing, OTM, Shipping, EDI…), the person should be able to exercise High degree of influence over others outside the job function regarding policies, practices and procedures. and ensure solutions are designed which will not impact the Order to Cash cycle. • Lead and drive the Compliance and Controllership issues • Be the DT OM Contact point working with our key Customers. Ensure both the systems are effectively communicating and proper controls and checks have been put. Build Strong customer relationships • Ensure and upgrade key monitoring capabilities within the DT organization in the Finance space and also while interacting with our customers. • Mentor, Coach and assist with providing training to end-users, Subordinates & New Resources Oracle Order Management modules. • Ensure Order Flows to downstream systems seamlessly. Provide proper support to Core DT/Business teams to ensure smooth operation. • Should be able to validate solutions build by other team members and test it thoroughly before approving it • Play role in putting future strategy, work with our EA’s for module/functionality/features deployment across modules and reporting • Future thinking to simplify EBS footprints • Engage programs SME & project leaders • Manager Project/Task/Deliverables by/in JIRA/HPQC • Regular Communication with DT & Business leadership. Also, ensure Core DT & Business Leadership is updated regularly with Execution Status & Andon. • Work effectively with business, vendor/partners’ resources and various DT teams such as Infrastructure, SOA and DBAs. Raise red flags promptly. Assist in building consensus and resolving conflicts, if any.

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/computer science • At least 7-8 years of relevant industry experience • At least 5-6 plus years of experience with Oracle ERP Implementation/support • Thorough Oracle functional knowledge of Oracle modules – OM with strong exposure to Pricing and Shipping • Sound knowledge of integrated suites with wing-to-wing flows • Sound knowledge of Project Management • At least experience of 2-3 project executions • Work Leader Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong business flow knowledge • Implementation experience and the ability to recommend business solutions • Strong influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills. • Quality and cost driven; experience in Six Sigma and lean • Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans with minimum management • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Exposure to the Service and Call center industry an added advantage.
