Principal Program Manager, Product Information Management (REMOTE)

The Challenge

The Principal Program Manager – Product Information Management (PIM) will partner with DT & business leadership teams to plan, design, deploy, and execute item workflow solutions focusing on lifecycle states of items across all types. This person will also drive the next level intelligent reporting and PIM Data Governance in this space. The role will primarily focus on designing, owning, and driving key solutions in the PIM area which will help business operations to increase their efficiency. The focus will also be suggesting new redesign of workflows, organizational structures to enable costing, functionalities/feature, enable PIM Business glossary/lineages/workflows, mentoring/directing teams to fix complex problems. Partnering with DT and business stakeholders, the person will ensure seamless execution & business continuity while launching ERP projects. The person will also make sure the solutions are scalable to support the continued company growth.

What you will Do

  • Lead design, build & deliver solutions across Product Information Management(PIM) module.
  • Work on the reduction of business processes re-engineering and NPI's TAT.
  • Standardize and improve the promotions effectiveness primarily focusing on our top 100 Customers.
  • Setting up Data Governance processes and technologies across PIM area
  • Partner with Business Executives on various CHRM programs initiatives.
  • Own & drive item master needs for Business across functions.
  • Verify solutions built by other team members and test it thoroughly before approving it while engaging with program SMEs & project leaders.
  • Work effectively with business, vendor/partners’ resources and various DT teams such as infrastructure, SOA and DBAs
  • Identify red flags and bottlenecks promptly while delivering.
  • Assist in building consensus and resolving conflicts, if any.
  • Support DT functions in ERP Exit initiatives, primarily focusing on the PIM
  • Own and implement the new-age PIM Solutions for the business.
  • Lead the Data Governance initiatives and enable PIM Business Glossary/Lineages/Workflows development
  • Lead and drive the Compliance and Controllership issues around PIM area.
  • Play role in strategy, working with our EA’s while introducing technologies & processes. 
  • Scheduled and continuous Communication with DT & Business leadership. Also, ensure Core Insights and Intelligence & Business Leadership is updated regularly with Execution Status & Andon.
  • Mentor, Coach and assist with providing training to end-users, Subordinates & New Resources Oracle Finance modules.

What you need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/computer science or related field.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant industry experience into Project Management & Experience in leading programs.
  • Product Lifecycle management knowledge and Strong business acumen.
  • Hands on experience with Oracle functional knowledge of Oracle modules.
  • Data Governance understanding and knowledge Glossaries/Lineages/workflows preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in Product Information Management (PIM) module and related functionalities.
  • Sound knowledge of integrated suites with wing-to-wing flows
  • Implementation experience and the ability to recommend business solutions
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills , Quality and cost driven; experience in Six Sigma and lean
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with Oracle functional knowledge of Oracle modules.
  • Data Governance understanding and knowledge Glossaries/Lineages/workflows preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in Product Information Management (PIM) module and related functionalities, policies etc.
