The Challenge

The Digital Technology Site Senior Manager is responsible for setting and executing the overall site Digital Technology (IT) strategy, including oversight of all DT activities occurring in, or impacting, the site while working in close cooperation within our DT organization and on-site plant management team. This role also serves on the Plant Manager’s staff, representing DT. This position is responsible for coordination of all DT activities in, and brining value to, the plant facility. This position is accountable for planning, directing work, leveraging team and individual strengths, projects, implementation, managing personal the team performance, is responsible use of resources including company funds, addresses concerns, solves problems, and adds value to ensure high quality results.

What you will Do

  • Manage the portfolio of DT projects for the location based on Factory Master Plans and larger digital supply chain projects, by having planning sessions with the plant staff.

  • Oversee the role of responsible DT owner for Dassault Systems DELMIAWorks (formally known as IQMS EnterpriseIQ) application suite and sub applications used by our Plastics COE

  • Provide overall leadership of the DT function in the facility, including development of the DT site roadmap and execution strategy; this includes implementation of new applications as well as driving the overall adoption of DT systems.

  • As a member of the DT Team, coordinate DT related activities and needs within the location while working with peers, the Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Manager and others at the site on developing DT goals, strategies, plans and budgets that support the site while ensuring overall enterprise goals, strategies, standards, policies, and plans are met and maintained

  • Partner with location users and the DT application owners to generate ideas that will increase application productivity & value-add functionality

  • Communicate and employ the capabilities of the overall DT organization for the benefit of the site

  • Work with location and DT teams to ensure projects are properly prioritized and manage the locations expectations

  • Work closely with the DT Managed Services provider to ensure the support of all site-specific information management systems, network, and desktop environments

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise procedures, and compliance with regulations and policy

  • Ensure responsible use of related company resources including DT equipment and expenditures.

  • Facilitate regular service level reports and analysis to the plant by the DT Managed Services team for continual service improvement.

  • Facilitate and run additional projects to promote the SC DT team and our business partners.

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Management, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering and/or minimum 7 years of relevant experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience with DELMIAWorks IQMS Suite and/or a major MES applications suite like GE’s Proficy suite

  • Strong logical problem-solving skills with ability to influence both DT and business partner management teams

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and efficient project management skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work hours outside of routine schedule as necessary and occasionally travel

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

  • Experience developing and managing DT people, resources, budgets, and ROI analysis

  • Experience with one or more major ERP applications suites (Oracle EBS preferred)

  • Proven experience working closely with business owners on continuous process improvement

  • Experience managing groups that support DT (IT) infrastructure including telecommunications, networking, VoIP, security, Active Directory, Exchange Server and Windows Server environments

  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participates in continuous process improvement on the job, and follows our manufacturing best practices.

What you need to Succeed

What could set you apart:

  • 3-5 years of experience with DELMIAWorks IQMS Suite, implementations, growth, and configuration. 

  • 3+ years of experience with other major MES applications suite (EX: GE’s suite)

  • 5 years of experience leading an IT business or related team with experience operating at a senior manager level.

  • Ten (10) years of prior relevant experience in roles of increasing responsibility within Information Technology, with a focus on MFG and or Quality related systems

  • Experience developing and managing DT people, resources, budgets, and ROI analysis

  • Experience compiling both functional and technical design documents with the intended recipient being a development team.
