The Challenge

This role will be focused on developing a new external facing branded growth channel to drive acquisition of new owners & lifetime loyalty through a seamless & integrated experience across all consumer touchpoints throughout their entire lifecycle. An integral part of the role is helping to create an ecosystem of partnership with new and existing partners, establishing new ways of doing business. This includes defining new relationships with resellers, GEA independent servicing networks, 3rd party home services platforms, designers, builders, etc.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for identifying new and different channels & partners to further bring the GEA ecosystem to life.
  • Build early model that we can test with different partners; assess learnings and rescope as needed
  • Scope the opportunity to buy, partner with, or franchisee different businesses and services
  • Define value proposition for the model for GEA, our partners, and the owner (consumer); a strong value proposition where all stakeholders in the eco-system benefit by the partnership, developing incentives to build brands and services
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build out the partnership development and execution roadmap
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners building agreements to help and protect all vested parties
  • Closely partner with the Contract team to define and establish the role of the GEA ecosystem for builders and new homeowners
  • Deliver compelling presentations with proposed recommendations to enable leadership decision making
  • Develop programs and relationships that are scalable
  • Prepare/provide reports and analysis to assess strategic impact and risk
  • Conducting financial modeling and planning
  • Lead and contribute to special projects as needed

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 7 years of business development, franchisee, or M&A experience
  • Experience with channel management and channel development
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute the details on a tactical level, while also leading at the strategic level
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels to include external customers/stakeholders
  • Strategic & critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to develop agreements, work with legal teams
  • Must be willing and able to travel as needed to fulfill the duties of the role.  Will fluctuate based on business needs.

Desired Characteristics/Qualifications

  • Understanding of media buying and planning
  • Previous account-based marketing or field/shopper marketing experience for a consumer brand
  • Prior agency experience having demonstrated strong client management
  • Experience in market & customer insights, product commercialization and/or brand
  • Organized and demonstrated capability of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exhibits a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to turnkey all aspects of account
  • Ability to learn new technologies, industries, and business processes quickly
