The Challenge

The successful candidate will be working in a team environment supporting GE Appliances’ Human Resource managers in the employee data management and reporting process. We are looking for individuals who embrace change, collaboration and excellence and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you will Do

  • Process Workday HR transactions that support the entire employee life cycle: New hires, job changes, promotions, salary increases and employee exits
  • Possess a passion for data integrity, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday HR and Web-Intelligence
  • Respond to HR Managers requests to develop and deliver adhoc reports
  • Create template reports, dashboards, scorecards, etc.
  • Work internal audit reports to ensure all government and GE Appliances rules and regulations are met
  • Identify and implement process improvements

What you need to Succeed

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an administrative/data entry/customer service/accounting role
  • Experience with web-based applications
  • Flexibility and being an early adopter of change are a must
  • Outstanding customer service and resolution capability
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Outstanding organization and accuracy skills
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-look ups

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience working with both union and non-union manufacturing employees
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field
