At least a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or BA/BS degree in a related technical discipline is preferred. In addition, network certifications are a strong plus.
Design network policies and controls and dynamic routing, Design VLANs and Isolated L3 networks compliant with required Zero Trust Principals Validate security configurations and access to security infrastructure tools, including firewalls, proxies, IPSs, and WAFs.
Review network segmentation to ensure least privilege for network access Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations.
Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts
Participate in infrastructure projects to provide security-planning advice
Conduct or facilitate threat modeling of services and applications that tie to the risk and data associated with the service or application.
Ensure a complete, accurate and valid inventory infrastructure that should be logged by the security information and event management (SIEM) or log management tool.
Draft project plans for security service and technology deployments and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization.

5-7 years of hands on experience in global networks components such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
5-7 plus years of experience designing, building, and supporting a large-scale enterprise grade networks and providing highly available and scalable solutions to meet customer requirements.
LAN/WAN design with Strong LAN/WAN troubleshooting skills with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of communication protocols, explicitly routing protocols like BGP, OSPF as well as TCP/IP.
Cisco ASA Firewalls, Palo Alto Global Protect VPN | F5 LTM
Expertise in routing & switching protocols and VPN's in large enterprise class or service provider networks.
Microsoft DNS and hosted DNS service, Debugging/configuration problem-solving skills.
In-Depth Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and routing protocols, including EIGRP, BGP)
Extensive experience working with enterprise networks, high-level managerial skills, and advanced project management skills.
Network and/or Security certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCIE) would be preferred
