The Challenge

The Principal Enterprise Architect is responsible for closely working with functional leaders and enterprise architecture team in aligning technology teams to business objectives leveraging EA frameworks. This role involves an active participation and framing of enterprise governance standards, architecture governance reviews and training the project teams on enterprise architecture framework.

What you will Do

Essential Duties / What you will Do • Assist the project teams in aligning with business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity. • Understand customer needs, company’s products and services and match them with the best in class technology to define a north-star target state and key business objectives. • Help defining prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing a strategic roadmap that leads to the target state. • Lead key discussions around change programs from both business and technical perspectives. • Working on Current and target architectures of select capabilities and publish gap analysis and roadmaps in assisting functional leaders • Working with functional leaders in adopting business capability framework and driving enterprise architecture framework • Part of Architecture Review Board and responsible for working closely with functional teams in aligning them with enterprise governance standards • Driving EA knowledge awareness across the teams and training various stakeholders on EA initiatives such as Capability Based Planning, ARB, EA tool adoption etc. • Working with solution architects, business analysts, domain architects and project managers in making sure enterprise governance policies, standards and guiding principles are followed and understood. Basic Qualifications/Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, discipline, or equivalent. • At least 8+ years of experience in either software, systems or enterprise architecture disciplines. • Good understanding of and ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure. etc. • Hands-on in converting business goals to business capabilities and connecting them all the way to technical projects and business process, data, application and technologies • Good understanding of enterprise application integrations technologies as well as common EA topics such as persona-based journeys, process orchestration, master data management, analytics and insights, artificial intelligence, etc. • Good understanding of security processes, standards and issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications. • Familiar with Industry or vertical solutions a plus. • Familiar with principles of network, application and information security. • Articulate and balanced in demeanor with crisp written and verbal communication skills. • Communicate innovative opportunities leveraging existing and emerging technologies. Desired Qualifications • 2-3 years in a pre-sales or customer facing consultative roles. • Working knowledge of Salesforce’s platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities. • Working knowledge on Oracle ERP modules in a value add • Experienced with key business drivers and how technology shifts to influence the achievements of business drivers. • Experience with and exposure to architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc. • Familiar with relevant (regional, vertical, etc.) data privacy, risk management and compliance requirements associated
