Sales and Sales Operations intern

The Challenge

This year-long internship opportunity will allow students to gain valuable business experience as they work with experienced and inspiring leaders in challenging projects across GE Appliances' Sales and Sales Operations organizations.

What you will Do

Sales and Sales Operations intern assignment vary widely in terms of the types of work required.  Assignments are one year with the potential to extend longer. Possible responsibilities may include: 

• analyzing sales data and identify trends
• creating documentation and training material
• testing new sales tools
• user acceptance testing

Interns have significant exposure opportunity to key Sales and Sales Operations leaders at GE Appliances.

This position does NOT include housing or relocation assistance.

Required Qualifications

• Must be full-time student currently enrolled in 4 year-college or university program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business or other business-related degree program
• Must hold and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average
• Excellent computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task
• Must be willing to work up to 40 hrs./week during summer and 20 hrs./week during regular school year

• Strong commitment to a career in Sales or Marketing
• Students currently in Sophomore or Junior year (May 2024 - May 2025 graduation dates)
• Preference is for students attending school in Louisville, KY area to allow for in-person internship, however consideration will be given to students who are in Louisville, KY during summer and able to work remotely during school year
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities
• Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom
