The Challenge

The Business Analyst would provide strategic technical direction along with leadership in design, development, enhancement or support related work within the HR processes. As a Business Analyst you will handle end to end applications operational cycle in addition to supporting other HR related technical support. In this role he/she will provide direct liaison with Functional Owners/DL/PM to define and implement business solutions. Lead project/s team to successful completion and closure of project(s) using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes and tools. Serve as technology expert in AWS and Google Cloud domain for the team.

What you will Do

• Gain and maintain a good understanding of the HR systems and applications landscape of the organization • Ensure optimum utilization of the systems as well as suggest new improvements for better user experience • System Expert - Understand the business processes and systems and suggest improvements by leveraging system functionalities • Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy the reporting systems, and utilize metrics to determine improvement opportunities • Relationship Management - Be the SPOC to liaise with HRIT/ Vendor for any issue/escalation related to system and support • Maintain Application Security and set-up related information in various HR applications • Work closely with operations/functional team and provide training and updates regarding system changes, Acceptance testing, Regression testing, Functionality testing per needs • Work in partnership with the HR Services country leads to build reporting and other technical data driven solutions that support Simplification, Automation and Streamlining of HR Services processes • Automate/digitize top 5 process in HR operations to improve efficiently & productivity • Actively liaise & interface with HR stakeholders like HR business partners, recruiters, rewards partners, etc. to understand their needs for ‘Optimizing existing applications / solutions’ as well as ‘implementing new applications / solutions’. • Partner with the product implementation & support teams and participate in new rollouts, releases, enhancements, changes & fixes.

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years of total years of experience in projects and/or operations.

Technical Skills:

Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Go programming, AWS and Google Cloud platforms. • Experience in working with HR applications with a minimum of 2 years on any industry benchmark HR ERPs like Workday, PeopleSoft, Cornerstone, Kronos, etc. • Ability to author, maintain, and debug code modules on AWS • Strong functional bent of mind, good understanding of HR processes a plus point • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Implementation experience and the ability to recommend business solutions • Strong influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills. • Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans with minimum management • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership • Excellent oral and written communication skills
