WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own and manage overall profitability of the Plastic Tub portfolio: Key metrics are sales, EBIT cash and inventory. Areas of focus include Total Product Cost, Share, Quality, Price, Mix and elements of the investment deck – NPI, Capacity, MCTO, RTP and COQ
Collaborate with and help to develop the Factory Master Plan initiatives. This role will especially need to drive the investment decisions needed for the most efficient insourcing/onshoring of key strategic content
Collaborate with and provide guidance to the AP3 operations team to set market-paced production priorities and drive operational improvements to continuously improve cost-competitiveness
Develop and execute strong innovative brand strategies; and shape the brand architecture to grow GEA leadership in the segment using the LTP strategic planning process, Modular Architecture Framework, Factory Master Plan and Strategic Supplier strategy
Lead consumer research on required product attributes desired by consumer/customer and direct cross-functional efforts to deliver on the requirements
Develop relationships with key customers, and products to help them meet their goals, while driving GEA growth and profitability. Collaborate with Commercial Director to form promotional strategies for key selling holidays to grow share during these windows in particular
Drive high consumer satisfaction through understanding of Cost of Quality and Ratings & Review priorities
Engage suppliers at a strategic level with Sourcing team to abate inflation and tariff pressures
Support the commercialization process as new products go to market via NPI Programs or NMMs
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 14 years of Product Management, Brand, Marketing, Operations or broad-based business experience including roles of increasing complexity and responsibility
Entrepreneurial style with a strong bias for action and results orientation
Demonstrated ability to hold your own through strong pressure testing of ideas in a challenging environment.
Strong product sense, with ability to bring consumer insight to bear on product design, yielding successful product innovation launches into consumer brands
Demonstrated experience in cross functional and leadership level communications
Experience collaborating with high performance teams as well as influencing cross-functional teams to deliver strong execution
Strong quantitative and analytical skills to understand and drive business metrics
Adaptive leader, curious and willing to learn and evolve in a challenging environment, comfortable in a faced paced work environment
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
Must be willing and able to travel to Supplier & Customer sites as needed
Excellent organizational, project management and problem solving skills
Additional Success Factors
Prior experience launching new business for a consumer brand
Cross-functional leadership experience, particularly in commercial roles
Previous experience in Appliances or a consumer products business
Results oriented: proven ability to deliver on commitments and follow through with strong influencing skills
