The Challenge

Sales Director, Affiliate Channels is responsible for developing the strategies to achieve volume growth, margin and price objectives with our eCommerce retail partners (i.e. Amazon, Wayfair). They will lead a team of senior national account managers and sales operations. They will have a high level of influence driving key decisions across the brands, MEs and sales team as an expert in the online retailer and marketplace space.

Position is Remote but should be located in CST or EST time zones

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop digital commerce strategy for online retailers and marketplaces.
    • Develop short, mid-range, and long-term strategic growth plans for online channels.
    • Align senior business leaders with the right digital commerce strategy by marketplace and platforms for brands, product lines, and media tactics.
    • Develop communication plan to drive execution, awareness, and education cross functionally.
  • Drive sales and margin thru digital channels and marketplaces.
  • Develop digital media and marketing plans for each channel to achieve ROI and sales targets.
  • Develop promotional plans within
  • Build a distribution plan that balances the channels and drives growth
  • Develop new digital channels and online e-tailers.
  • Build foundational support by partnering with IT and other functional teams to enable future growth opportunities.
  • Develop content strategies and content for brands and product lines to maximize sales on each retailer platform.
  • Develop and execute digital merchandising tactics to drive key KPI’s across online retailer platforms.
  • Manage media budgets and performance.
  • Build and develop backroom support and operations teams for online ordering, shipping, and billing.
  • Business lead for online retailer relationships
  • Work with product lines, fulfillment forecasting teams, and distribution teams to support online sales operations
  • Build reporting capabilities and communication plan.

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 10 years of experience to include Sales and eCommerce with a Retailer or Manufacturer
  • Prior experience selling into/to Amazon
  • Prior experience in digital channel management in eCommerce
  • Prior Amazon experience as a First Party, Third Party or Hybrid
  • Cross- functional leadership
  • Advertising/digital media experience
  • Excellent communicator
  • People management experience
