The Challenge


As a pre-finance intern, you will receive hands-on finance experience, exposure to strategic initiatives, and lessons in the role finance plays in achieving business objectives.
Our 8 week program is designed as a mentoring opportunity where you are aligned with an individual assignment leader who will help set your specific goals, deliverables and expectations throughout your rotation. We value development and offer several training opportunities to enhance students' technical and professional development including, communication skills and resume writing. Our interns participate on committees with other students that offer opportunities to network with the leaders of the company. The interns will have the opportunity to participate in many social events. These include lunches, sports, and cookouts.

What you will Do


  • Work with your assignment leader to accomplish established objectives and goals that support the business and offer learning opportunities
  • Perform Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting/Planning Activities
  • Participate in Monthly/Quarterly closing activities
  • Analyze financial data as required
  • Participate in development and training opportunities to enhance your technical and professional development including, communication skills and resume writing

What you need to Succeed


  • High School diploma completed by June 2022
  • Accepted into an accredited college or university
  • GPA > 3.0 (out of 4.0)
  • Plan to pursue bachelor’s degree and major in Finance
  • Participated in Lincoln Foundation OR YMCA Black Achievers
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Must be 18 years of age at time of employment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Desire and ability to learn
  • Passion for finance
