The Challenge

The Senior Customer Service Fulfillment Representative supports large US retail account and 8-10 export customer accounts. The Representative works directly with Deployment, Transportation, Logistics and National Sales team members to meet customer expectations and facilitate account growth.

What you will Do

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide execution support to assigned customers and GEA sales personnel.

  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service for large US retail account and international customers.
  • For the US retailer, the daily work includes order processing, ETA management and communication, managing complex logistics, product returns and issue resolution as required for assigned accounts by working with Transportation, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
  • For International Accounts, daily work includes order processing, price confirmations, product validation, generate export documentation, and provide to third-party carriers and freight forwarders.  Create load plans for truck shipments and ocean vessel containers.
  • Track orders, identify issues, and escalate problems for resolution.
  • Effectively track and resolve customer claims and adjustments.
  • Ensure that customer order shipments meet the customer delivery metrics and shipping requirements.
  • Provide information through strong cross-functional interaction with GEA business team and National Account customers.
  • Work closely with Customer Fulfillment Manager to accomplish team objectives.

Other related duties as assigned.

  • Provide assistance and/or training to other team members
  • Generate project ideas and complete as assigned.
  • Serve as a resource on business initiatives needed to drive sales growth and cost productivity.
  • Run weekly reports.

What you will need:

  • 2 years of Order Management/Customer Experience.

  • Proven demonstrated sound interpersonal skills.

  • Team player.

  • Ability to handle challenging priorities.

  • Experienced with multi-task and work quickly in a transactional environment. 

  • Sense of urgency with excellent follow-up. 

  • Order Management systems.

  • Data analysis skills utilizing Microsoft Excel

What experience, skills, or understanding we would like you to have:

  • Proficiency in Spanish language a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CICS/Oracle/OE systems, including order management.

  • Proven oral and written communication skills.

  • Customer relations skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly desired.

  • Prior Distribution, Logistics, and/or Fulfillment work experience.

  • Prior project management experience.

  • Data analysis skills utilizing Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
