Associate Developer, Mobile Application

The Challenge

The individual will serve as a Associate Developer supporting Mobile Application development using Native Android Frameworks (Java/Kotlin) and Cross platform technologies (React Native/Flutter). The individual will partner with team members and develop applications that engage and provide a great user experience. The individual will have the opportunity for hands-on development in Native and cross platform technologies and will follow UI design principles, design patterns, best practices and build/reuse components.

What you will Do

• Deliver new capabilities and driving value attainment for consumers.
• Responsible for contribution to development, documentation, validation and support for Mobile Applications.
• Comply with industry best practices for implementation and technical architecture standards.
• Deliver solutions using (but not limited to) the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, React, React Native, Flutter, AWS, Google Cloud, Python, Machine Learning, HTML, JavaScript, Git.
• Design and develop re-usable components/ boilerplate templates and provide best user experiences and services.
• Work on a high velocity agile team that is expected to deliver solutions in a few weeks from concept to delivery.
• Take an automation first approach to streamline processes.
• Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

What you need to Succeed

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

The person would be involved in development of
• Mobile Applications (Native)
Key skills: Java/Kotlin for Android 20%
The person would be involved in development of
• Mobile Applications (Cross Platform)
Key Skills: React native/Flutter for Cross platform 60%
The person would be involved in development of
• Application program interfaces in support of the mobile applications
Key Skills: Python/Java 20%

Preferred Qualification:

• Certification in a Native or Cross platform application development environment.
• High initiative, self-starter, proactive, dedicated, results oriented, a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
