The Challenge

The Supply Chain Financial Analyst will partner with our operations teams to help drive increased understanding and improvements specifically in the areas of Warranty and Cost of Poor Product Quality. The individual will be a strong advocate for controllership in this role and will also help manage planning cycles, reporting processes, as well as other various ad hoc projects within the FP&A team including Cloudleaf Asset controllership.

What you will Do

  • Responsible for the financial closing, reporting, and estimating associated with the Quality organization including the required warranty reserve true up, supplier and manufacturing quality, and product concessions worth about ~$250M annually.
  • Owner of the Quality P&L’s and Program spending which total ~$35M in cost in addition to the ~$250M in Cost of Poor Quality mentioned above.
  • Owner and primary point of contact for balance sheet activity related to the Quality Organization.
  • Provide leadership for monthly financial estimating, closing and reporting by partnering with operational counterparts in Quality to ensure results are communicated and understood by Senior Management and Operational Vice President.
  • Manage the formal planning cycles for the Quality / Warranty costs, including both long range outlook and 1 year budgeting processes.
  • Support process improvements both financially and operationally, helping drive growth and productivity throughout the Supply Chain and Business.
  • This individual will also be responsible for ensuring we have the proper controls in place regarding Fixed Assets controllership & the Cloudleaf asset tracking system.
  • Provide ad-hoc support regarding other various projects and key initiatives for the Supply Chain FP&A team.

What you need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ Finance experience. Ability to work in matrix environment supporting Finance, Operations, and Product Lines.

  • Controllership/Risk Management (Builds strong processes and provides inputs to align business projects and transactions with internal controls framework, accounting policies, related disclosures, and compliance policies. Ensures that potential risks are identified and mitigated and escalates issues that exceed risk tolerance.) - Proficient

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP, Oracle, Hyperion
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Access skills
  • FDP or related development program graduate preferred
