Parts Distribution Systems and Process Leader

The Challenge

This role will partner with a wide variety of stakeholders to drive both systems and process improvements within our Parts Distribution Network. Work will ensure we have the right systems capabilities needed to drive towards a world class organization, spearhead our data analytics capabilities, and improve processes to drive cost out and deliver excellent customer service.

What you will Do

• Partner with Parts Distribution Organization and others within the Parts Microenterprise/Consumer Operations to drive process improvements generating productivity to meet cost out goals
• Business ownership of WMS projects that support business operations including changes for customer needs, automation, productivity, and reporting
• Execution leader for IT projects ensuring thorough and robust test plans for implementations and driving proper training and capability with warehouse 3PL team; lead project plans and execution on deliverables
• Key liaison with advanced analytics team to drive projects that speed the accuracy and effectiveness of decision making in fast paced business
• Stays ahead of current trends in warehousing, systems, and analytical models

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and driving large IT projects that support operations
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum five years of work experience in supply chain, operations, and/or warehousing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, able to analyze data from multiple sources to arrive at an optimal solution for service and cost
• Inclusive and able to successfully work with cross-functional teams
• Position will mostly work out of Jeffersonville, IN warehouses and Appliance Park as needed; ~10% travel as needed to satellite locations

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• SCDP Graduate
• Manhattan Scale WMS experience
• Experience in Lean manufacturing/warehousing
